Traveling opens the door to unforgettable experiences, immersing us in new cultures, wandering through unfamiliar streets, I find myself drawn to the forgotten—the discarded, the overlooked, the things left behind. Much like my sculptural photography of books, travel gives me the opportunity to see the world through a different lens, to discover beauty in unexpected places.
I’ve always been fascinated by transformation. Whether it’s an old book reshaped into something new or a city’s hidden corners revealing their quiet magic, travel fuels my creativity. A crumbling bookstore in Paris, an antique shop in Mexico City, or the intricate patterns in nature—these moments stay with me, influencing the way I approach my work.
Every journey is a reminder that nothing is truly static. Places evolve, objects take on new meanings, and even the most forgotten things can be reborn into something extraordinary. That’s what excites me about both travel and art—the endless possibilities of reinvention.
