My husband and I took a trip to the Baltic this summer. We were in St. Petersburg for three days. What impressed me the most, (besides the Hermitage) was the people. NO ONE looks happy, in fact they seem at best -morose. I'll save it for last.
I have been included in a book on paper art. "Papercraft: Design and Art With Paper" from Gestalten.
You can check it out on their website, and see sample pages. They have a wide range of styles, and also video that is really interesting. It will be available in the US in October 09.

I am pleased to announce that I am now represented in Seattle, Washington by Foster/White Gallery. They will be featuring my work in a show coming in July. I will post more information about the show soon.

Last weekend UCLA hosted the LA Times Festival of Books. I was there with Susan Spiritus Gallery. There were over 130,000 people attending this event. Lots of fun, and plenty of people watching.
